Fake work-from-home jobs that ask you to pay to earn
How this scam works
These scams promise easy money for simple online tasks like rating products, liking videos, or completing surveys. Initially, you might receive small payments to build trust. Then they ask you to "invest" to unlock higher-paying tasks. The invested money is never returned.
These scams typically operate through Telegram groups and target unemployed youth, students, and homemakers. The initial small payments create a false sense of legitimacy before the big ask.
Warning signs

- ⚠️Requires joining Telegram groups
- ⚠️Initial small payments followed by requests to "invest"
- ⚠️Tasks involve cryptocurrency or trading platforms

Real examples
“Hi! We are hiring for part-time work. Just rate products on Amazon and earn Rs.500-1000 per task. Join our Telegram: t.me/easymoneyjobs”
No legitimate job pays Rs.1000 per product rating. This is a setup for investment fraud.
“Congratulations! You have been selected for online data entry work. Earn Rs.15000-50000 monthly from home. Whatsapp 9876543210 for details.”
Unsolicited job offers with high pay and no qualifications required are always scams.
What to do
- ✓If it sounds too good to be true, it is
- ✓Never pay money to "unlock" a job or higher earnings
- ✓Legitimate employers don't recruit through random WhatsApp messages
- ✓Report the Telegram group
- ✓Research any company before engaging
